Embarkation Day Tips: Making the Most of Day One
The Lucy Team

Before You Arrive at the Port
Complete online check-in and health forms days before. This speeds up the process dramatically.
Attach luggage tags to your bags. Your luggage goes to your cabin separately — you will not see it for several hours.
Pack a carry-on with essentials: medications, swimwear, phone charger, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. You need these before your luggage arrives.
Your First Hours Onboard
Head to the buffet. It is open for lunch. Your cabin may not be ready until 1:30-2pm. Eat first, explore second.
Explore the ship. Walk every deck. Find the pool, the restaurants, the theater, and your cabin's location. The ship feels smaller once you know the layout.
Book specialty dining and shows. Popular restaurants and shows fill up fast. Book on the app or at the reservation desk on day one.
Attend the muster drill. Required by law. Listen carefully — it is about your safety.
Watch the sailaway from deck. The moment the ship leaves port is magical. Grab a drink and find a spot on the top deck.
Pro Tips
Bring a magnetic hook for your cabin door — useful for hanging lanyards and hats. Bring a power strip — cabins have limited outlets. Download Lucy's language packs while you still have home Wi-Fi.
